Finally, an honest statement from George W Bush

When Bush made the statement that the most memorable achievement during his term as pResident was catching a six pound perch on his ranch he was finally being honest. Think hard. What other achievement can the man tout? His Medicare reform is a disaster. His invasion of Iraq is a tarpit that is sucking us down. He's squandered a huge surplus in only one term. He's turned the world against us. Americans are being gouged at the gas pumps, not by OPEC, but by American oil companies. This should come as no surprise since he's had about 50 former oilmen in his cabinet since he took office, the most notable being Condaliza Rice and Dick Cheney. Hell, he even lost a city of half a million people.

I can think of nothing that he can be proud of.

In a few years he'll be able to look back and say, "Well, I'm the worst pResident ever. That's got to count for something".

The statement was dishonest, unless he really did catch a record breaking perch, or didn't know the difference between a perch and a large mouth bass. The white house has revised the transcript identifying the fish as a large mouth bass, so he lied or didn't know the difference.
