Screaming at the TV?

I do. All the time. Gloria Borger dragging out old Kennedy stories from the crypt. Talking heads twisting words and asking leading questions..

Full of righteous indignation I fly to the computer to fire off a scathing retort, aching to have my voice heard... and I Cant find the email address!.

10. I never scream at the tv anymore . . .

because I never watch broadcast or cable "news" anymore . . . or talking heads of any persuasion (with the occasional exception of Stewart, Colbert or Maher -- and even those are rare) . . .

on the critical issues of the day, people who get their "news" from tv and newspapers are uninformed, ill-informed or misinformed ("ill-informed meaning they have incomplete information, "misinformed" that they have wrong information) . . .

my brother-in-law is a prime example . . . he thinks that Bush, while maybe not the greatest president, is doing a credible job -- far better than that scoudral Bill Clinton . . . his news sources consist almost exclusively of Bill O'Reilly, "Imus in the Morning" and, occasionally, one of the network or cable "news" shows . . . when I tell him I can't discuss politics with him because he's so uninformed/ill-informed/misinformed, he doesn't know what the hell I'm talking about . . .
