Mr. Colbert: You Forgot to mention the MOST important topic !
Edited on Thu May-04-06 11:22 AM by Laura PackYourBags
Amazingly, in only a half hour, Stephen Colbert at the Correspondent's dinner, hit on a remarkable number of topics that epitomize the failures/crimes of this mAdministration:

1. Fox News bias
2. Press not reporting on Tax Cuts
3. Press not reporting on Global Warming
4. Press not challenging the administration
5. WH personnel changes making no difference
6. Global warming (glaciers)
7. Rove and Fitzgerald
8. McClellan saying nothing
9. Tony Snow is a Snow Job
10.Disdain for the press
11.Gannon
12.The way Helen was treated
13.Lack of respect for Leak investigation
14.Iraqi government failure
15.Reason B** invaded Iraq
16.Plame leak
17.McCain and Bob Jones U (bigotry)
18.Stop loss program
19.Generals speaking out against Rumsfeld
20.Frank Rich (good plug)
21.Ordering men into battle from bank of computers
22.B** out of touch with reality (science)
23.B** never changing his mind (despite facts)
24.Stupidity of "Mission Accomplished"
25.Katrina photo ops

TOO BAD HE DIDN'T GET to THE MOST IMPORTANT TOPIC, WITHOUT WHICH WE MAY NOT BE ABLE TO RID OURSELVES OF THE POLITICIANS AND LEADERS WHO SUPPORT THIS EVIL EMPIRE:

ELECTION FRAUD/REFORM

I wonder how much he knows about it...

7. From the debates in 2004
Kerry had mentioned how few countries were in our "coalition" in Iraq, and mentioned the UK and a few others, and then Bush indignently piped up like a little school boy, "you forgot Poland!!" like he was a 5th grader that caught his teacher making a mistake in class for the first time.

19. Damn ... you're absolutely right!
I can see that this speech can become an entire course on political science all by itself. I can invision whole sections of the speech broken down and studied for what it "really" meant.

Sort of like the song ... American Pie ... the more you listen the more you learn what it really means.

he has mentioned voting MACHINES several times as though they would
be the way "we" would win (meaning repubs)

No one seems to laugh at those though...

a celebrity stalker out of me. Can you imagine? Or I would've had a heart attack, in which case I could've been a ghost celebrity stalker.

Perhaps for his encore.

Edit: looks like he did and I missed it. Must watch again. Now, how does one go about celebrity stalking? Is there a for Dummies book I can refer to?

I am not bitching. I absolutely, positively loved his performance. I am in awe. I am just saying, with the captive audience, it sure would have been great to get to see the Idiot's reaction of guilt, huh.

he might not be totally informed about that. If you recall, Jon Stewart didn't touch that with a ten foot pole either. Keith was the only one reporting it.
