Snow Job's First Decision? Whether To Pull The Plug on WH Briefings!
Edited on Wed May-03-06 07:14 PM by leftchick
I just heard on KO's show that Josh Bolton has left the decision of whether or not to televise the WH briefings any longer to Tony Snow! :wow:

As Joe Lockhart commented in the segment, it shows the WH still does not get it.

1. Oh, they get it
You'll just have to switch over to Fox to watch the briefings, that's all. Once the footage has been tightly edited to reflect well on the Great Dictator, uh, Decider.

3. Question is, are the talking heads getting it?
Why pay a lot of people if only one script gets on air? Singing Karl's talking points is a sure fire way to just disappear off the screen!

7. Steve from C-span compared it to the Kremlin news
it is truly amazing they have the balls to try this. I don't know if this will fly.

4. Why should a dictatorship give briefings? The Kremlin never did...
Snow gets it very well indeed.

10. the report gave a background on the history of WH briefings
apparently it was not until the Clinton administration that the full videotaped WH briefings were given with Mike McCurry. Now what a perfect setup for the bush** WH to abolish them as "quaint".

:grr:

11. Sorry to sound so pessimistic, but this is a done deal..
So when Snowjob pulls the plug on the daily briefing keep these phone numbers and e-mail addresses in mind:

White House Switchboard: 202-456-1414
White House Comment Line: 202-456-1111
White House Fax: 202-456-2461
E-mail for Chimpy: [email protected]
E-mail for Cheney: [email protected]

Flood them with phone calls, faxes and e-mails.

12. But, but, but - then - no Tony on teeveee?
Just as they found a camera friendly stooge, they pull him from the spotlight? Will Tony agree?
