SHOCK! FauxNews is unhappy with Stephen Colbert.
The inimmitable Steve Doocy (pronounced Douche-y), winner of exactly zero journalism awards and idol of dozens, claims that Colbert "was over the line". How can this be possible? The "fair and balanced" folks at Faux are upset by a public spanking of their boy? The next thing you know we will learn that noted anti-drug crusader Rush Limbaugh is actually a tweaked up, pus-gutted, hillbilly heroin addict.

1. "Reality has a well-known liberal bias."
I loved that line.

2. Couldn't have anything to do with the line...
That Fox brings you both sides of the story...the President's side, and the Vice-President's side...hehehehe...

10. Screw'em Their rating are going down the tubes. The only people who ...
watch FOX NEWS are those who are living in a comatose state.

Big babies. I saw someone from Fox who did everything but hang a sign around his with "I support George Bush" while interviewing a Democratic Senator, discussing the oil crises.

The country will go down the toilet, if something is not quickly done.

People with whom I speak, say it is very difficult to trust America anymore. Bush and Fox and Rice and Rummy and others have done one hell of a lot of damage. Seriously!

3. Stephen 'the Derider" kicked Jorge "the Decider" and Faux squaw in the
nutz.

That line about Fox telling both sides of the story, the president's and the vice president's was truthiness shining through.

4. Not one Colbert joke could be considered personal. All of it was
policy related. Unlike Imus and the Clintons who at least tried to smile and greeted Imus afterward. What didn't they like? The button with Gannon's name on it under the podium. Brilliantly funny.

5. Duh! Faux jokes were the only ones everyone laughed at!

I am appalled to be surrounded by the liberal media that is destroying America, with the exception of fox news.
Fox News gives you sides of every story, the president’s side and the vice president’s side.

6. At least they mentioned him
No other member of the SCLM even acknowledged that Colbert was at the dinner.

7. FOX is a junk drawer of a news network. When cable service
begins a smorgasboard selection policy, I predict FOX's profile will be lessened, simply because the people who watch it tend to be from that 33% pro-Bush bunch.

"Lie to me! Oh yeah, lie to me again!"

9. There is nothing fun about being reminded that you have done
something terribly wrong, immoral and criminal. Supporting a senseless war with your silence is wrong, immoral and criminal, and that is the not-fun-fact that Colbert reminded everyone at the dinner about. Faux-news is in denial. They can't face the truth. It is too horrible. Colbert's humor makes it really hard for them to deny the truth. Colbert is just brilliant.

11. That, along with the report on WH aides leaving during the speech,
only serves to confirm that what Colbert did was right on target.

12. I hope Comedy Central doesn't Maher him
Colbert's a professional and, somehow, I doubt he's drinking reviews of his appearance with the same political lens we are.

There seems to be a slow boil heating up on this. Were it not for the rallies yesterday, I wonder if it would have been the number one topic. It's troubling, not that it wasn't number one, but that it's a bullseye for the right-wing they can use while simultaneously putting immigration (and numerous other topics) back on the shelf.

I just hope Colbert stays true to his fans and doesn't make adjustments to please the Bush-loving critics. Or, that the powers-that-be try to retaliate and take a chunk of his ass.

13. Given what TDS, Colbert Report and South Park run, I wouldn't worry
They don't seem to care if they piss off the world. More power to them.

And some polls I saw on line.
The line. The free speech line.
