Poll question: Vote: Which was the less funny and biting satire?
Which kissed the most ass? Which was least truthful and least funny? Which had least bite? Which sucked ass the most?

And btw, Stephen Colbert--YOU ARE A HERO!!!

2. I actually thought it was cute
If Democrats can't laugh at themselves once in a while, there's something wrong with us.

4. It was incredibly biased. Think about it
The only attacks on Bush they had were ones where Kerry called him stupid. It made him look like a victim.

But they had Edwards screaming "I'm gay!", and portrayed Kerry as a rich, elitist snob who came from money.

Hello, what do they think Bush was?

5. "Cute" -- that's the word for it.
I guess I think satire should be more biting than cute for it to be truly great. All it did was poke "good-natured fun" at Bush in a frivolous and toothless way (his mispronunciations and malapropisms and...well that was about it). Something that actually soothes and flatters the target, rather than making it uncomfortable. In other words, lame and not really even deserving of the name "satire."

THAT's what made me not like it, not that it said anything negative about Democrats (since what it did say was about as lame and edgeless as what it said about Republicans).
