My answer to the gas crisis

How about we just vote all these Republican assholes out of office in November and put the adults back in charge?

What do you think?

Don

1. We're Americans so we need a short term solution ...
like $100 checks for instance.

2. Isn't that the most inane thing yet to come out o our current government??
And, of course, it's tied to ANWR.

Yeah...give'em a hunnerd bucks...that'll be like a brazillion to them folks suffering from them high gas prices I c'ain't do nuthin' 'bout...hehehehe :sarcasm:

The citizens of the United States have never been so disrespected. Those in office and those with priveleged lives really do look down their noses at the average citizen.

Hey! You people that are in office and can actually do something about this! How about actually putting in place regulations to stop this insanity at the pump and protect the wallets of the taxpayers who pay your salary?

5. They Don't Give A Shit

Salary, schmalary...they care more about who finances their RE-ELECTION CAMPAIGNS.

They are all pretty much independetly wealthy enough that they could serve the public for free...no damned salary...most of them.

and they ARE independtly wealthy primarily becuase of those very people/companies that support their re-election campaigns.

Do you really think they give a shit about the crappy salary...or the average taxpayer? Puh-fucking-leeze!

7. Idea: let's impound & destroy every car with a Bush/Cheney bumper-sticker.
Then there will be more gasoline to go around at a lower price. Sounds fair to me.
