Will you serve with me? 21 arrested at West Point (don't ask / tell)
West Point - Jacob Reitan had a question for the men and women in uniform.

Asking it got him arrested.

3. Everyday! We all need to do this-
Sit-ins in our congressmen and senators offices

Graduation is coming- Hit all the ceremonies with a message
THat we object to racism and fascism

Street corners- EVERY DAMN DAY with a message

On your tee-shirts a message

On your car a message.

Gosh I'm so proud of those brave patriots.

8. Soulforce intends to keep growing.
They plan on having daily sit-ins at recruitment stations this summer and doubling the size of their tour for next year. Getting arrested yesterday was seriously the coolest thing I've ever done. (I'm also quoted in the article at the end)

6. I'm quoted in that article.
"It's just something that has to be done," said Jackie Callan, 23, of Rockaway, N.J. "I have a bisexual friend serving in Iraq, and I think it's ridiculous he can't come out."

I was one of those arrested.

7. awesome!
I was at the very first protest that was ever held at West Point. Actually, it was held in Highland Falls. We didn't go in to the academy. Slackers!

You guys & gals, :yourock:
