Disappointing news about the HIV prevention gel for women.

Apparently, a trial to evaluate its effectiveness was halted recently because it did not show this product to have any real protective benefits.

A disappointing outcome for something hailed as recently as a couple of years back as being "a game changer" in the HIV pandemic.
