Clinton won't rule out Obama as veep

by Glenn Thrush

(NORTHRIDGE, CAL.) -- Hillary Rodham Clinton sorta, kinda, maybe suggested that Barack Obama just might be a fine running mate during a q-and-a session at U.C. Northridge..

A middle-aged man in a bangled leather jacket over a "Bronx" T-shirt asked the senator if she'd consider making Obama her running mate.

She replied: "Let me say that I cant think that far ahead because it's bad luck - I'm very superstitious and i don't want to be presumptuous -- but he is an extraordinary man and he has so much to give our country and I hope that however this works out that he will be a major figure in American politics for years to come... I certainly support that." (Thunderous applause)
