1. Sometimes when I had the game on TV I'd turn the sound off
and put Herb on the radio. What I really liked was his enthusiasm, whether he was broadcasting a regular season game or the last game of the World Series and he never cluttered the game up with idle chatter or snide remarks about players. I can't imagine never hearing him broadcase a game again.

3. Herb was good
I don't live anywhere near there, so I didn't hear him often, but that voice just sounded like the Twins.
