Got my MRI results today
Looks like my herniated disc was recurrent. :-(

Now I'm back to where I was in October, I'll be getting epidural steroid injections to try and shrink the swelling. Hopefully it will be successful this time, since the rupture just happened recently.

I really was hoping it was all in my head. I just want this shit to be over and done with . If the epidurals don't do the trick, my surgeon want's to do another discectomy because of the nerve involvement.

Fuck.

2. Back surgery sucks
and the longer you can put it off, the better off you'll be.

Good luck.

3. Sorry to hear that.
The epidurals were successful for me, although not a lot of fun (I know you know all about that).

What disc is it?

Holding good thoughts for you. Sorry for the bad news. :(

4. Same one as before
L5/S1. The base of my spine hates me. :-(

I have two other moderately herniated discs further up, but they're not pressing on any nerves or causing me any trouble, so we're not doing anything about them at present.

6. Wow, That's A Drag
Hope the shots help quickly. I've never had any back pain. I'm so glad about that, too! With the high BP, asthma, and MS, i've got enough troubles! Know what i mean?

Again, here's hoping your most recent treatments make a big difference.
The Professor
