6. Oh, crap -- I thought he was starting at 9
Will he be back? I just got home a little while ago after Nancy's opening.

What did the Pretzeldent and Blair talk about?

12. Other than shrubbie giving Bliar the kiss of death
by saying he wanted Bliar to remain as PM as long as he was in office, not much more than recycled talking points. Oh, & something about shrubbie saying he regrets saying shit like "bring it on" & finding osama "dead or alive." What.the.fuck.ever.

And to the CNN mindless robot who said shrubbie was a "Texan who lost his swagger," GODDAMMIT, HE'S NOT TEXAN! :nuke:

4. Excellent timing, Patsy and Muff!
I think the jury is out as to whether the glasses are new or a reversion to the old ones he wore before getting the "invisible glasses" last summer.

Love how he's sticking it to * for not being able to admit YEARS AGO that he had made mistakes!

Edited on Thu May-25-06 07:52 PM by bunny planet
I sure hope Gregory is not falling for blivet's 'charm'.

Did Tweety just say you 'toughies' in the WH press corp.

Ok, now David is telegraphing the potential criticisms of Bush's speech.

Too late David, I will never, ever trust a word that comes out of W's mouth. He is only even attempting to apologize for anything because his poll numbers are in the bowl.

Yippee!

I met a DUer at Nancy's opening tonight -- libertyforall -- she said she never posts anymore because people are always arguing and getting all over each other. I told her to join us some night -- that we're welcoming and friendly and promise not to bite. She was very nice. I hope to see her sometime soon.

19. So Scarborough is now getting tough on Bush
Tucker likes 'bellicose talk'!!! Is he for real.
Did you hear Noron O'Donnell laughing like a hyena when Tweety said 'this is Hardball' after all

His personal ratings are NOT in the 50 to 60 percent range.

OUR 'bipolar' pollsters, did you hear her say that.

This hand wringing amongst the talking heads on MSNBC (except for KO of course) is just ludicrous.

NOw Tweety is comparing Bush to LIncoln and calling him a great leader.

Notice now that Scarborough cracked on Bush, he's no longer called on now.

They are trying to make DG look like one of them, and he's trying very professionally not to go along with it.

Oh back to angry JOe.

195. ha! Here's Tidbit, their mom, with my big boy Otis
this was taken just a day after she arrived (she made herself right at home) and she had the kittens less than 2 weeks later. Tidbit is one smart cookie. She plays fetch with her mouse (until your arm falls off from throwing it) and is learning not to scratch the furniture (the first cat I have ever taught that successfully)!

suspect...the lighting at 30 Rock.

It tends to make his complexion look different, his hair look darker, the whole schmear.

78. No, I don't think it was planted, I think its' true that Hastert should be
investigated for any number of things, but I think he's being protected as long as he continues to make nice with the President. The minute he got froggy, all of a sudden there was a story. Then JD said there was no investigation. But they can instigate one at any time if Denny gets in the executive branch's face. Its called blackmail and these shitheads are certainly well versed in using it.

the ones who are doing the complaining, are they the ones who donate to DU? According to Skinner, only about 1200 do each time & several, like Sharon, who donate each month. I try to donate each go-round, but there have been a couple of times that I haven't been able to.

If these whiners would actually donate to DU, maybe Skinner wouldn't have to try these Google ads to help pay the bills. Me, I don't like them, but I realize why the Admins have to do it. I'd rather have DU with Google ads than no DU at all.

Gore losing an election that some said was stolen, he was comparing him to Nixon. He was saying that both of them had served two terms as VP to a popular president, then lost a presidential election that some said was stolen.

I didn't realize some people thought JFK stole the election, but I guess it doesn't surprise me either.

that Daley brought out the dead in Chicago in 1960.

But that's no mean feat. The Infamous Box 13 story: Somehow in his first senatorial race, LBJ got the voters in one precinct in Duval County show up to the poll in alphabetical order to vote for him, lose their ballot box & then "miraculously" find it when they discovered he needed extra votes to defeat his opponent.

147. Hello, Maria.
I say it loud, and there's music playing.

I say it soft, and it's almost like praying.

How is that you are more lovely each time you appear on my broadcast?

What is the hunger in my heart, that I cover a story I despise in order to have a few minutes with you to have this little dance at the center of the gym?

You, Maria, are my idol, and I dance before you in this grass skirt because I am a slave to your charms. Release me from this curse, or be mine foever.
