I'm bummed -- the Prez is going to be about 15 minutes away from my house tomorrow and I couldn't find a creative way to get in. I was given a number to call about volunteering, but they have enough people. Nancy was going to put out a plea tonight, I think, but I'm not holding my breath.

11. I hope you're right, but my only shot now is

for Nancy to get to someone who will get us in. When she was able to do that during the campaign, she could only get one ticket, so I'm really doubtful. It's at a community college in the neighboring county, and I think the attendees will all be students and faculty. They're having a lottery for the tickets and the event won't be open to the public.

As if we're not having enough traffic problems around here -- the summer construction season is in full force with lots of lane closures. At least the event is to the east of me and work is to the west, so any closures shouldn't affect me, and I'll be at work when he gets here. The event is at 2:30 and he should be long gone by the time I leave work.
