I've been listening, but I've been working in the kitchen. See, I started out making chili, but when I got to the crisper to get the celery, I discovered the remains of an unfortunate cucumber (I have named him Larry, and have said a few words of thanks for his all-too-brief life). Of course, then I had to take out the drawer to clean it... and Larry's guts spilled under the other drawer, as well as all over the kitchen floor. So I had to empty the bottom two bins, then the shelving, since that, too was pretty disgusting. While doing this, the ground beef is burning, so I stop to strain it and dump in the slow cooker, then chopped up the celery and onion, and put that on the stove (under low heat - I learn from my mistakes!). During this time, Keith is on, so I listen from the other room. I dig around to get the chili beans, diced tomatoes, and tomato sauce, and dump about 1/2 bottle of hot sauce in the mixture to boot. Then I returned to finish cleaning up the fridge, and mopping up the floor. I refuse to pull the fridge out, since I figure that can be someone else's surprise later on. :evilgrin:

I had supervision. CC kept investigating, but for some reason, did not try to climb into the refrigerator this time. Oreo kept walking by and meowing very loudly, expressing her disapproval.
