Healing is slowly coming along. Have to keep the foot up and take the pain meds on time. I think it is starting to hurt less. Poor Patsy got to hear(in type) me whine the other night. I see the doc Monday so will know more then. Just know it will be a long road to get back to near normal.

39. Being laid up sucks.

I had stitches in my foot and a bruised heel once after a car accident and although it wasn't as intense a situation as you're in, I still remember being bored out of my skull and dwelling on the pain. And I HATED crutches. Plus, I'm such a wuss, I passed out while they were removing my stitches.

on seeing the screws and pins in my foot. I am going to try really hard to not look.


So far I have somehow avoided boredom, but had to work hard at it. I yell at the tv a lot then play the Wii. I have got to find some books to read soon though or my brain is going to turn into mush.

29. Hi guys, I'm at a friend's house in Ireland borrowing

the Internet broadband connection. Just wanted to check in. Things have gotten very interesting since last Thursday. It's 1:15 am here so I'm gonna log off and see if I can catch Keith on-line in the morning.

Hopefully next Thursday I'll have a broadband connection at my house. BT has to check out the line to see if were not too far out for it.

I'm having a great time and the weather's been absolutely beautiful. Everyone over here says I brought it with me. God knows the people here deserve it, it rained all summer long over here.
