Anyone here own a Subaru?

1. I don't own one, but they are famous for being outstanding cars.

Built well, reliable...bulletproof damn near. My dad had one, my former neighbor had one, I have several friends that have them, my girlfriend has one. They all love/loved them.

2. My wife had a Justy, one of the toughest little cars I have ever seen.

My brothers both had Subarus - my middle brother bought his back whenb you had to sign an order from the dealer and wait 3 or 4 months till it got shipped, one of the old flar-four engines with a 5 speed trans. It ran forever till it was so rusted you could see the ground through the trunk floor. At that point, I traded him a painting for it, drove it from Boston to near Philly and sold it to a guy whe just wanted the engine/trans to rebuild. For all I know the engine is still running.

My other brother had one of the SUV's, drove it all over the US and Canada for over 260,000 miles, and traded it in for another one.

Drive it - you will like it.
