Dean/DNC Chair Conference Call
Dean is holding a series of conference calls about his run for DNC Chair. I'm hoping to tap into one tonight.

This one took place earlier. Listen!

1. It was very interesting
He seems completely open to uniting and working with his opponents, should he win, which I feel he will. He said he has much larger support base through DFA now than he had when he was in the presidential race. I believe this to be true and when the electors understand this part, they will see the value of a Dean chairmanship. They can't be oblivious to the level of discontent out here in the trenches.

3. Well, now
I'm only a borderline Dem of late, but this would fix it for me, knowing there is a fighter looking out for our interest. While not a Deanie, as you know, I do believe if anybody can bring the party back to us, it is Howard Dean. And I think he can win this one. :)

4. Let's hope. He'll need support, that's certain.
I'm going to go now and try to get onto a conference call...Will let you know what happens.

8. I think so too.
The good news is, should he lose this race, he will still be around and will run for president in 2008.

6. I just got off of the phone.
It was a long conversation with 700 connections.

And one of the first things I heard when I connected was ...

CAPN SUNSHINE!

In any case, this call was a lot like the one at the link above.

7. Dean again praised those who are also running for the DNC
chair spot. He also encouraged us to reign in our enthusiasm somewhat and to write to our state DNC people.
