Thursday, 8/18: I worked out today--did you?
Hi gang!

I did 30 minutes on the elliptical and then did my knee/leg and ab routines.

Just a note: I haven't really lost any significant weight in a few months, but I put on a pair of pants that I haven't worn in a while (I'd say 3 or 4 months) and they are looser than they had been before. So those of you who live and die by the scale--take a lesson. :)

1. I did a short easy work out this morning, just yoga & stretching.
I have really bad cramps & did not feel up to pushing myself.

2. 2 mile walk today
I continue to weigh myself when I want to. I'm 266 pounds and the scales are a good indicator of progress when you are that heavy. Now if I were 200 and I was trying to change the shape of my body rather than lose weight I wouldn't worry about the scales. I'd just worry about my progress with my weight training and cardio workout.

5. I'm jealous!
We have "seated massage" once a month at my gym, but the massage therapist is coming on a day when I won't be around. Go figure...

9. I couldn't wake up at 4 this morning
I went to bed at about 9:20, and when the alarm went off at 4 I barely even remember shutting it off and staying out like a light until almost 9. My body must have needed it. I'll be up tomorrow no matter what, though. I'm setting backup alarms. And since its my weekend, I can go out and get a ride then come home and sleep all I want, so no excuses. :)
