Body Fat monitor question
I'm thinking of getting a body fat monitor. I saw 2 models and wonder if any of you have used them or have opinions pro or con.

One is a Medisana Body Fat Analyzer Control F and the other is a AccuFitness FatTrack II Digital Body Fat Caliper.

You can see them both at http://www.overstock.com/cgi-bin/d2.cgi?page=endeca&SEC_IID=7812&N=0&keywords=body+fat&x=13&y=15

Any feedback is appreciated.

1. I have one similar to the Medisana and it seems to work pretty well.
Mine allows you to enter the data for six people and I happen to have six in my family so I had them all try it and the results appeared to be accurate. Also, I've used it myself over time and watched the results change as I gained or lost weight. The directions say to check every two weeks and watch for a trend since it measures the water content in one's body and that can fluctuate.

3. How accurate do you want to be?
The best/most accurate measure of bodyfat, IMO, is the water immersion technique.

The calipers are good, but you really have to be spot on each time you measure.
