Inspired by AZDemDist6's pics...How did I do?

This image inspired me to build my own from scratch. Obviously, my "hole-in-the-wall" was much smaller, but I am pretty happy with the way it turned out. What do you think?

Keep in mind, mine was constructed from bare unstained pine wood. Aside from the backing, which I used from scrap wood I had already, this was constructed of wood bought at Lowe's. Not counting labor, the raw materials (minus the backing) cost me less than $10. ($5 for the wood, $5 for the stain if I had to buy it.)

If only I could master 45's. :)

2. Thanks for the inspiration...
...I was reading the board a few weeks ago and came across your picture and thought, "too cool!!!"

Then it occurred to me that I could do something similar. We had one of the old type ugly medicine cabinets there with the big mirror that opens up. I always hated it, but didn't really want to spend any money to replace it.

After I got the measurements of the hole, it only took me a night to build, sand and stain.

I could have put more detail in to it if I hadn't been hurrying to finish it. Now my wife wants two more for the other two bathrooms. :)

Anyway, thanks for the compliment. (To make a short story long) :)
