My Second Painting ... Ever

Still needs a little more work, but I'm not going to push myself too hard. Leaves would be biting off a little more than I can chew just yet.

I threw caution to the wind when I went to the art supplies store.

4. that and
sort out who "belongs there" and who does not. i, for instance, did not. i was a single mom, going part time (mostly because i already had a 2 year degree, and had all the core stuff done. studio classes are 6 hours for 3 credit. a full time load like that is large.) i was also a little ditsy, which is a girlie thing, and not artistic. they like manly insanity.
of course, i am the only one that i went to art school with that is still making art.
i did learn a lot. technical stuff, some lingo, some useful concepts. but the most important thing is that circuit between eye, brain and hand.
