This one is oil. The letter on the tigers face are written in Hindi. They mean "Sher Khan"


This is my first attempt at watercolor.

I always put a bunch of them in one thread but...that's just me...

I think your watercolor above is particularly amazing, I doubt I could ever get such luminosity and depth with that medium...

I'm sure you'll have no problem finding graphic work...and thanks for posting...:thumbsup:

3. I do like the watercolor

is it a self-portrait? I ask because it seemed that was what we had to do at least 2 a semester...reason was because we couldn't use the excuse of not being able to get a model...

4. No its not a self portrait, but I do remember those, hated them

I once had to do seven self portraits for one assignment.

5. I really like the watercolor one!

One crit though, if you don't mind. The eyelashes are too short, they look like somebody went in and cut them across ;P. I think if you made them longer it would look better.

6. I agree, I've been meaning to do it too, but it was in a gallery

for awhile, then we moved, and now I've been looking for a job, so I haven't had time.

But that has always bugged me about it, now since someone pointed it out too, I better go fix it. LOL
