If you ever want to post some pictures like this in full res, I'll host them for you. I get 10 Gigs of bandwidth per month with my webhost, and I'll put them up full size if you like.

It's a partly self-serving offer, I'd love to see these pictures uncompressed.

4. You really don't need a "better" camera
These are damn good. Very good. But... I shiver to think what your shots will look like if you do.

I can't pick a fave... but I'm very fond of trails, roads, and dusk/night shots. Had to go put on my Winter Coat after looking at these.

5. I guess what I need is something
with more lenses because what I do have trouble with is getting the whole scene. I suppose I could learn how to do those piece-together things that Mutley (I think) does, but as it is now I'm always frustrated that I can only nail one little section of whatever it is that I'm looking at. I was salivating over those panoramas on that gallery I posted (although he pieces things together, too, I think). I sure wish I didn't have to work. I'd love to spend time just playing with this all the time. I'm a smart girl -- I'm sure I could learn how to do it if I just had the time.

6. Incidentally, one of the infamous "bridges to nowhere"
would cross the Knik Arm over to Pt. McKenzie just to the right of where downtown Anchorage is in the first shot. Developers on the other side are salivating at the prospect.
