Glimpses from my drive in South Carolina today - I've been traveling for a few days
I saw so much that visually enthralled, and emotionally saddened me that this is all I can show now, I don't even know how to chose, I'm tired, and it's like throwing a dart anyway I have such a wealth of stuff.

Hope you enjoy a bit of Dec. 2 in the deep South on the East Coast.

2. These are wonderful photos Mira!
I especially like your fourth photo, although the fifth with the gentleman is very moving.

6. He is on Main St. in Clio SC - one block long. Only 2 stores it seems are operating
everything else is locked up and out of business and decaying. It's the little town where I photographed the cotton mill and field.

He sits there with some baskets of sweet potatoes, his laptop and his bible.
He says he has no email, can't decide if he can use it. And he says he uses the computer to study his bible. I did not ask him how.

I have his address. Will send him the picture.
I'm glad you like it. The light was interesting and appropriate.

7. He probably has a bible app installed. In retail you spend a
lot of time looking out the front window, waiting.

9. That's the spirit! And if you take photos, and
if you have one you like of "animals", enter the contest to come in December.
