2. i went to a photography workshop this weekend
this was one of the techniques we covered.
basically what you do is set the camera on a tripod.. stop the lens down as far as you can.. then take the shot as people walk either away from or toward the camera .if the exposure is long enough (these were in the range of 1-6 seconds) the people will look likes ghosts. you have to experiment because the faster the people walk the more ghost like they look

4. You might look into getting a ND filter
Long daylight exposures tend to get washed out pretty badly and a good ND will definitely help.

I think it's great you attended a workshop. You meet people in the real world. Great way to learn. I like what you've done with these. Very nice.

If you decide to do more of this type of thing I'd recommend (besides getting a ND filter) that you use a Dodging Brush on the 'ghosts' to give them a little more of a 'ghostly' feel.

You're like a bottomless bucket. Always trying new things. A tip of the hat. A nod. A wink. An encouraging smile.

5. I was going to say no, but then
I saw photo number 3. Now that certainly is proof positive! ;-)

Interesting technique . . . experimenting is always fun and rewarding!
