It was my second post at the DU or something, and I didn't know anything about this place at the time, lol.

I do seem to have a thing for still water, or what? Evil tongues would say it's because nature is the only object who will stand still long enough to allow me to fumble the camera into position

The pictures are from different photo sessions, and the 'Bay of Reason' is really a small bay at the property of my ex-wife's holiday resort south of Oslo. I took many pictures of exactly the same spot, at all seasons and in all kind of weather - usually after a lot of good food and drink, so the horizon often became a bit skewed :P

Here are some pictures from the session where I picked the 'creating ripples'-pic; a beautiful summer day in 2000 when my father in law, my ex-wife and me took the boat and went on exploration.

Water lily and fish

We always do some fishing when we're out. Even if we just release them after catching them ;-)

Rock with grass

As the boat floats by, this rock made itself as pretty it could.

Angry Swan

We drove past some swans out teaching their kids how to swim. The father just gave us the mean eye; 'You hold it right there, noisemakers!' :D
So we turned off the engine and floated around among them for a while.

After a while they got used to us, and checked wether we had some food to spare. Sadly, we only had a fish and a water lily :P

I also saw your beautiful photos but was at work (and not signed in) so couldn't leave a comment at the time. I can't keep up with the lounge either so never got back. O don't sign in at work anymore because I forgot to sign out and realized it a couple weeks later when I was on the same computer and was already logged in.
