These are all wonderful, but my favorite is the first one...

The colors are just stunning!

My second most favorite would be "friends on a stroll." Very subtle, and lovely.

I like the pumpkin leaves for the same reasons as you.

But "friends on a stroll" does seem to tell a story.

It was a beam of light coming through the canopy and striking the leaves, about 25' up above me. I used the AF Macro to zoom in.

5. Looking at the colors in #4 makes me wonder if I might have seen you up there.

The view was very similar when we went up on the 10th of the month. I hadn't climbed Monadnock in 33 years. Needless to say, it was a lot easier when I was 17.
