There are lots of entertainers around the city, musicians, jugglers, dancers, and no doubt more to come.
I was keeping an eye out for the protesters but they were like the wind. By the time I arrived, all that was visible was a wall of police in their fluorescent vests. They didn't seem to be arresting anyone and it was pretty quiet in town apart from the problems this morning. I saw a few people with signs. Here's one of my favourites:

Every year, we have a big parade (scheduled for unnaturally early morning this time) and happycynic and I will be checking it out for you. Then, I have to go back to work on Monday so I might not be able to post more pictures for a couple of days. Do I hear huge sighs of relief? I'll try to have something good for you next time.
