Again....and so soon. Snow from my bedroom window this morning.
Do you see my gate which I will not open this morning?
And do you understand why I'll just take a nap now?

Believe me, the world stops when it snows in the South. I was at the store last night to get milk. Not only were there NO shopping carts. There was no milk.

1. Oh, man
We dodged the bullet again--just rain here. Good luck. At least you aren't further north. Does anyone in this group live in or near DC?

You need to get out and take some photos again. Surely you haven't had enough of it............

:sarcasm:

Yep, life comes to a halt when it snows in the south. The airport here isn't prepared either, and it's a hub. I think there is something like one de-icer.

11. Yes half way between
Baltimore and Philadelphia, about a foot of snow here already and still falling. sigh We usually get a lot more than either city does. I need to be living south of Florida.

Love the picture Mira but thinking you have also had enough of the snow. I lived in south long enough that I stop and hibernate when it snows.

2. I know the snow is annoying
but I can't help envying you for waking up to this. We were all set to head up to the mountains for our annual trip to see the snow when another storm rolled in which would have made driving difficult and scary. Sigh.

It would be great to just wake up one morning and have our yard covered in snow.

3. It was - is - beautiful
thought this one is the wet kind, it's already beginning to disappear. Last week's snow was the packing kind we almost never get, it was a real treat.
I hope you will get your trip soon, and that it will be wonderful!

8. We had about this much snow on the ground
early yesterday morning from earlier in the week. Then it began snowing yesterday, it snowed and misted all day, at the end of the day there was no snow left on the ground...odd..

On the milk, I have pondered why people run to the store to stock up on milk, bread, and eggs when it snows, then fill their car with gas, along with a couple extra gas cans, even though they don't really need any of it. The only thing I can come up with is that people's instinct is like that of a squirrel or bear, stocking up food for winter??

10. I noticed that the car has his breaks on and will probably
be spinning his wheels to get to the top of the next hill.

12. It's so odd to see snow
Here I have pictures of cherry blossoms and daffodils to post whenever I get time. We've had no winter and only a brief flurry of snow this year. I keep thinking it's May already.

Hope you're fairing well and that the stores have restocked the milk.
