4. I used to work on the ground crew there.
That was my favorite view of the house on the entire estate. I worked with an old man(I was 19 at the time) with no teeth named Mac. He would be driving us around in an old Ford truck and say, "You in a hurrwee?" Of course I would say no. Then Mac would say, "Let me show you summin'". He would then drive off on an old logging road, in first gear for about an hour.

But, that was my favorite shot of the house. Nice picture, thanks for renewing a great memory.

5. It's gorgeous, totally, any NC native is proud. For an alternative, dump the big house and crop it
to include the whole red tree and a bit above. Then the shadow of it will only suggest the big house.
I love love the blue in the water, repeated behind the duck.

6. anyone who hasn't had a tour of the Biltmore Estate
Go. It is totally worth it. If you go you will feel like you are in Europe rather than the US. (It's ridiculously gaudy of course.)
