Some Pics of the Palm Springs Intl Airport from 25 miles away and 6500 ft. Altitude

We went out for a ride this afternoon, got off the beaten track on a US Forest Service road called 1N02. There's a place called Coon Creek Cabin at a little over 6500 feet.

Pic #1 is from the edge of the mountain. I played with the brightness and contrast to make it a little better. Below the airport you can see the windmill farm if you look real close.



Pic #2 is from the porch of the Coon Creek Cabin and is unretouched. You can see the airport as a bright spot between the trees. Pic #1 was taken from the other side of the logs in the picture.



Pic #3 is of the cabin itself. The cabin is about a hundred yards from the edge of the Mount San Gorgonio Wilderness Area.
