Why I stay.
Edited on Thu May-21-09 12:25 AM by Blue_In_AK
For days like today. :)

This is Tern Lake at the junction of the Seward and Sterling Highways

I like this light.

This is Resurrection Bay at Seward. The things floating in the water are sea lions, I believe.

I saw about 75 of these, swimming around in groups of 8 or 10. I wished I had a longer lens. It was so cool, you could hear them huffing as them came up out of the water to catch their breath.

This is Kenai Lake

This is a different lake, but I can't remember which one.

1. Continuing the current trend of people posting stuff that makes me
wonder if I should just put down the camera and leave photography to people much better at it than I am.

Well damn done!

2. Don't sell yourself short, JeffR
I always like your photos. I think you're much more creative/artistic than I am.

3. Perfect postcards
Seriously, those are great! I love the perfectly still reflections. I never get those on the Tennessee River--even if we are in a quiet cove my hubby just *has* to use the electric motor.

What a glorious day, and glorious scenery.

4. Every single one is phenomenal. Every one. A great achievement.
And just yesterday you were digging out from the snow and waiting for a semblance of spring.
I will come back and look at these again and again.
