This ain't too bad - Great Seneca Creek
I took this photo in November while on a hike. The more I look at it, the more I like it. The focus could be better but it's a nice composition. The colors aren't spectacular, but they are nicely spread around.

1. I like it a lot, it reminds me of my bikerides which are constantly paused
to stop and take a picture.
I LOVE the muted colors, and I agree with you about the spreading of them as if it were a Pollock painting.
I would like to see a crop where the big dark trunk on the left is gone, to augment that feeling, but it might not improve it a bit.
Thanks for showing this.

2. That is very nice. The leaves on the ground,
the reflection of the trees in the water, the colors. It all works well together. Good job.

3. Looks very peaceful. Right now I
long for ground cover that's anything but white.

5. It is a beautiful shot. I love the path on the left side.
I'm a sucker for paths, doorways, archways, they put me in a dazey dream state.

Now that I look at it some more, I see the trees make a sort of arch over the water, so that's a double whammy! :-)
