1. Been staring at this for the longest time

Trying to figure out the objective circumstances behind it, and still can't. Lovely image!

2. Sitting in my sweetie's Kia Rio

on Shawnee Mission Parkway in the KC metro area while ~50 mph horizontal rain is driven,
wind tunnel stylee over the windshield. The sky was pretty much exactly that color.
I will have to check the EXIF, but I am thinking that it was 1800 hours or so, nothing like sunset yet.


Thank you, I almost deleted it because I got a lot of uninteresting shots of the car interior.
I am glad I stopped to look twice, because as you discovered, it is a hypnotic image.
