Here's one of my processing attempts, LONG after competition deadline

Which I didn't even figure out was going on...

Hope you like, criticism appreciated!

This one's fairly small. The original's about 45MB, ready for printing REALLY big.

1. Sorry. No more entries

That is waaaaaaaay over my head. "I think" I know some of what you did... but doubtful. I'm still in pre-school when it comes to this "extreme" stuff.

Very nice. That would have been a BIG vote magnet.

Do you still have the original photo you worked with?

4. It was a person

It may help to step back a little from the monitor. Or shrink it somehow...

10. Yes!

Also he had some tattoos, although you can't really make that out at all unless you knew what the tattoos looked like to start with. there's a sort of snakey thing at the bottom left hand corner that's oneof his tattoos.

9. It reminds me...
...of a modern stained-glass window.

8. I second that request...
During the challenge's submission process, I asked all entrants to describe the processes and techniques they used to create their work (in a post in the comments thread). I'd really like to know how you created such a wonderful image.

NOTE TO CO-HOST F.GORDON: Although this image was received too late to be a part of the challenge, I'm impressed enough to give it an out-of-competition "Judge's Award" or at least an Honorable Mention. What do you say?

11. I can't remember! I did it years ago

Solarise then auto levels then add original as a saturation layer then SOMTHING ELSE, maybe posterise, I can't remember then find edges then something else then solarise then autolevels again. I think. :-) This sort of multiple filtering doesn't work very well at all unless you're using HUGE images, though...
