Harry Potter fanfic article from the Torygraph
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/arts/main.jhtml?xml=/arts/2007/07/15/svfanfic15.xml

Fast-forward 200 years and Hermione Granger is taking a shower in her smart London flat. She reaches for her Paul Mitchell shampoo and massages it into her scalp before wrapping herself in a large, white, fluffy towel.

She has 40 minutes in which to blow-dry her unruly hair and do her make-up before she needs to be at her desk at Witch’s Weekly.

When she gets to work, her gay best friend, Tommy, is wearing Marc Jacobs earth-wash jeans. Tommy’s problem is that the gay men he likes all tend to be bi-, and bi-men usually end up with women.

Ron Weasley, meanwhile, has a job in advertising and likes getting off with Muggles because ‘they’re easier to get away from in the morning and won’t hex you into oblivion if you make them mad’.

This morning, when he wakes up, he finds one in his bed; pushing her out of the front door he mumbles something about calling her sometime, and then goes to work without taking a shower.

This is an example of the Frankenstein’s monster created by J K Rowling. It is a paraphrase of How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days: Harry Potter Style by ‘beautiful xlovex’, and the full story can be found, along with 41,000 others, on www.harrypotterfanfiction.com.
