OKAY People! Lets all gather around here for a minute.
I am here before you all today and must report that I am simply ROLLING! Things are going well for me and for us (my girlfriend) for a couple of weeks now and it is just amazing.
Soon I may have some big huge news to share with you and DU. Not look under your seat there are keys to a new Chevy Volt big. But within the context of our lives, big. Real big, and real cool.
So things are going great for me.
For us.
Now.
If you will you will notice some of the threads I have posted here. I see some right on page 1 of the MH group in fact. Takes a quick scroll through some of the bat shit insanity.
Sometimes it was bad.
Profoundly bad.
and now it is good.

I can't tell you how I got here, but I am here. I am happy. I hope you all can be too. And if you cant be happy, try being happy for me. :)
peace and low stress,
mdmc

1. I am very happy for you
celebrate!

I have wandered in thar valley of despair as well, and believe it or not, I have missed the intensity of that feeling. Usually when I am bored.

stay well

3. Those feelings also become comfort zones.
I know it sounds counter-intuitive to say that something bad can be a comfort zone, but it can be with a lot of people. I like being manic quite a bit overall, and when I'm not I miss it. I had a real long stretch of depression (about 4 years) and I still miss that sometimes in a weird way, even though it cost me a lot (like my marriage, for instance). It's weird, but you get so used to being depressed that being happy is almost scary.

2. Well that's awesome to hear.
For the most part I've been doing ok for the last year. A few semi-low stretches, but nothing serious. Manic all the time, but I kind of like that, at least until the body starts begging for sleep. :)

I'm glad things are going well for you.
