Anxierty has been eating away at me, physically.
A coworker noticed I am still overly nervous in social situations at work.

I've opted to start the lamictal.

At this point I have nothing to lose. My physical condition has continued to deteriorate anyway. I've noted I've had to start repeating myself to others because my speech is slurring more frequently... more headaches too.

1. I thought that you started this new med around the end of November....
are you feeling side effects of this?

If not, I hope that this offers some relief - start slow and build up with good communication with your doctor.

2. Too terrified until now to start it...
:(

No noticable side-effects yet.

3. If a little humor would help
I ate away at anxiety - 50 pounds worth! I hope you can adjust to your meds and they help or that you get better meds.

6. Thanks!
So far so good. Lamictal had an instant effect, even at this low dosage.

The trouble is, will I become tolerant an d need a higher dose?

Will the nasty side-effects kick in?

But the anxiety is starting to subside.

It will take a while; I've got baggage to unpack too...

Maybe I'll be able to find somebody to love before the collapse.

5. Hypno Toad, when did you start these meds exactly?
That would help us know where you are on the arc.

Doug has been through so many difficult meds adjustments, forgive me if I sound sort of clinical!
