"Who are you again" says my doctor of more than 1 year
The man who determines what happens to me because he prescribes medications has no clue who I am. And I can't switch because he is the only doctor I can afford with no insurance.
I was in the hospital and now he put me on Lithium. I shake now.
It's just so depressing that the person in charge of my health has so many people he can't keep them straight.
Process people as quickly and as cheaply as possible. The insurance companies don't want to pay a penny more than they absolutely have to so doctors limit most visits to 15 minute "med reviews" once or twice a month. Accordingly they end up seeing an average 4 different patients per hour, 32 or more patients a day, 160 or more a week. Is it any wonder they can't remember who is who and what their needs are?
