1. I heard about this earlier.
It's really and truly sad. That man is most likely delusional and mentally ill. The whole situation is really sad, and it sounds like something scary novels are made of. :(

2. I agree. There have been numerous threads on this, with

few posters recognizing that this is not normal behavior for a religious person. It's sad -- both this incident and the DU response to it.
