Crime forum in MA 3/2
5 p.m."Conversation On Crime"_Sen. John Kerry, Sen. Edward Kennedy, Lt. Gov. Tim
Murray, Attorney General Martha Coakley and other state and local officials,
discuss the growing crime problem in Massachusetts and solicit suggestions about
how the federal government can provide help. The meeting is closed to the media,
but Kerry, Coakley and various other officials will hold a media availability at
the conclusion of the meeting.

Boston.

1. Okay, who knew there was a Senate Prosecutors Caucus
and didn't tell me? Come on, fess up. Damn.

HIGHLIGHTS: State Attorneys General will meet with U.S. Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts. U.S. Attorney General Alberto Gonzales will address Attorneys General on children and Internet safety. FBI Director Robert Mueller will appear to discuss current law enforcement measures to guard against future acts of terrorism, as well as other critical legal issues of state-federal concern. The Association has invited U.S. Senators John Kerry and Lindsey Graham, co-chairs of the Senate Prosecutors’ Caucus to discuss Senate perspectives on criminal law issues. John Walsh, co-founder of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and host of Fox TV’s America’s Most Wanted, will address Attorneys General on issues surrounding the Adam Walsh Act. Attorneys General will have the opportunity to discuss recent U.S. Supreme Court cases, as well as discuss the landmark Dred Scott decision with legal scholars and the great-great-granddaughter of Dred Scott. Attorneys General will also meet with officials from the North American Securities Administrators Association, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the ACLU, Fight Crime Invest in Kids, the Anti-Defamation League, the Ad Council, the Jason Foundation (youth suicide prevention), consumer advocates and noted legal scholars. 2. Actually, when I was talking about Kerry being the best prosecutor
in the Senate, perhaps I was referring to the Dem side. Make no mistake, that no matter the ideological differences, Lindsay Graham is a kick ass prosecutor, too. As far as who's better, well I don't know the answer to that.

That's cool that they can come together on this.

5. I had seen the Boston Herald article here, but not this
I love the comments - amazing how exactly the same things are often said of her dad. She really is an incredible person.
