help - actual prewritten quote of Kerrys - what he was supposed to say

Can someone point me to what Kerry's actual quote was supposed to be - it was posted in the greatest section yesterday but I can't find it? I am writing a letter to Claire McCaskill (my hopefully future senator) and want to put the quote in it. I'm very dissapointed in her, though.

I was going to go volunteer for her tonight - I don't think so now - I know don't cut off my nose to spite my face, but I just don't feel in a volunteering mood at the moment.

However, I hope you can help McCaskill soon - think of it this way, the wingnuts will try to pin it on John Kerry if she doesn't win. Which is, of course, total bullshit, but nevertheless. Also, parts of Missouri are redder than a babboon's ass - you get outside of St. Louis and EESH. Not that I'm defending her per se - she should have kept her mouth shut - but she needs to win that seat and bad.

I'm just glad I'm not in a position to have to weigh my disgust at certain Dems' backstabbing JK versus my desire to win in 2006. I do NOT envy those who are.

I will help - I'll probably go down their tomorrow, but I'm still going to tell her I'm disappointed in her - never mind about the quote - I'm going to go ahead and sent the letter. If she'd cared she would have taken the time to find out herself before speaking.

3. Oh I definitely agree you should let her know how you feel.

She needs to know that her decision to aid the GOP attack against a Dem who has tirelessly raised money for HER has consequences. Maybe remind her how much JK has helped her, and this is how she repays him?

Ok, I just donated again to Claire - but through John Kerry's email that he sent to me trying to get me to donate to her, just last week.

From now on any donations I give to her will be through him - just to make her feel bad for what she said : )

Actually that's probably all I can afford to give except time.

I am horrible at phone calls - a bit of a phobia - and was actually considering trying to make phone calls for her on election day anyway - now I'm not so sure.
