Homegrown: 21st Century Family Farm
For anyone interested.
Screens this weekend in St Louis for anyone out that way.

Film about the Dervaes family and Path To Freedom (www.pathtofreedom.com ):

Homegrown is the inspiring true story of the amazing Dervaes family who are living off
the grid in the heart of urban Pasadena, California. They harvest over 6,000 pounds of
produce on less than a quarter of an acre while running a popular website that is known
around the world. The film is an intimate human portrait of what itʼs like to live like Little
House on the Prairie in the 21st Century.

Here's a trailer:

2. How did they do it
I watched the trailer. I never saw anything about how they are getting such high production. Are they doing something different or special? I have been reading some of the crop results at agbioinc where Cuba is doing organic farming using a product called Vitazyme where they have been getting as much as a 300% increase in crop production. It's an organic bio-stimulant that improves the micro nutrients in the soil and the plant.

It seems like the family is trying to show that others can do it too. I didn't catch the name of their website so I couldn't see if they give anymore information about it there

3. We are following the same path,
and are simply amazed at their efficiency and productivity.
We will be borrowing some things from them.
