Survivior Exile Island - SPOILER ALERT
I'm embarrassed to be an older woman. Those ladies made a big mistake voting off Tina last night. She probably could have gotten them through challenges. I was disappointed they did that. Ithought sure the "I hate leaves" lady would go.

So, anyhow, what did you think of the twists? Next week it appears two people get exiled to the island.

1. I was disappointed in that, too
Poor Tina. Wasn't she the one that was picked a few seasons ago and then her son was killed? Now she gets on and is voted off the first tribal council.

Boy, the young guys shelter is the funniest shelter I have ever seen! Did the other tribes even build shelters? I don't remember any but I can go back and watch it again. I recorded it for my husband -- he arrives here in the USA from Korea on Saturday. This week I move out of my place and move to Korea next weekend. Unfortunately, I'll probably miss episode 2.

I can't say I like the 4 tribes twist. There isn't that many people to interact on each tribe and it loses something, IMO. But then I usually don't like the first 2 or 3 episodes too much.

2. From today's local paper:
'Survivor' contestants fear Maine's 'lumberjack lady'

Reality TV producers love an ironic twist. So it's only fitting that on "Survivor" Thursday night, the contestant known as Timber Tina was the first one to get axed.

Tina Scheer, who owns Timber Tina's Great Maine Lumberjack Show in Trenton, was the first among 16 contestants to be voted off this season's installment of the hit CBS reality show.

You'd figure that a woman who can wield an ax and a chain saw with ease and dexterity might do well in a survival contest. But you'd also have to figure that a woman like that might scare the heck out of her competitors.

And that's exactly what happened.
