The Ultimate Fighter: Season Two
Edited on Wed Aug-31-05 12:46 AM by Mojambo
I don't know how many DUers are watching this show but I thought I'd create a thread for discussion.

I just saw episode two and it seems to be coming along nicely. The fight between Josh and Melvin was pretty decent. Josh did catch quite a break when Melvin hurt his hand, but he showed some good wrestling skills and solid ground/pound.

Can't wait to see the heavyweights next week.

1. this already started?
I didn't see season 1 because I didn't know when it started and I hate coming in on a series (or movie) late. I thought I'd check out the first few episodes of this season to see what it was like since I am a reality/unscripted TV show freak. Now I guess I am SOL again.

2. Do you use Bit Torrent?
If so I can send you a link to download both of the first two episodes. Actually Spike TV will re-run episode 2 on Thursday and Saturday of this week so you'd only need to download the 1st one.

3. no, I don't
maybe I can watch episode 2 on Spike and be able to figure out what is going on. What happened on episode 1? Introduction of the new contestants?

4. Not much happened in Episode 1
The guys came to the house and had their first couple of workouts in front of the two coaches (Matt Hughes and Rich Franklin)

One guy pussed out and another guy got hurt and couldn't continue (both Heavyweights) during the workouts

Since the heavyweights had already lost two guys the coaches then picked out the one welterweight who was judged to be the weakest and allowed him to choose one guy to fight for the right to stay in the house. But he had to sweat 20 pounds to make weight and broke down in the sauna and gave up. So there wasn't even a fight in episode one.

So that was basically it in episode one.

Usually the first 10 minutes of every episode is a fairly detailed look at what happened in the previous one (this is kinda standard in the reality genre I've found) so you shouldn't have any problems catching up.
