http://gizmodo.com/5594097/new-tron-legacy-trailer-is-as-badass-as-you-were-hoping-it-would-be

Is anyone else fascinated and/or creeped out by the CGI young Jeff Bridges in this?

1. it does look like a neat effect
I wonder how good it will look in 3D IMAX.

Does anyone know if this was filmed in 3D, like Avatar, or just upgraded to 3D?

3. Good. I support 3D films as long as they were filmed that way
Converting conventionally filmed movies to 3D, not so much.

6. ...that was pretty much the only cool thing that they did in X-Men 3.
The de-aging of Sirs Patrick Steward and Ian McKellan was rather impressive, I thought.

I just hope George Lucas doesn't get any ideas for re-doing the original Star Wars movies any further.

:scared:

8. Well, I tried to start the clip about 25 minutes ago, and it still hasn't started
I'll check back later.

But holy moley--what's with the Daft Punk cheering squad in the comments?!?

9. Okay, I got to see it. Pretty cool, but...
I really hope that they don't overdo that trite "bullet-time" slow motion disc thing. We've seen that effect so many times that it's lame the instant it happens onscreen. It they do it more than once or twice in the film, it's way too much.

Worst of all is when they jump to the slow-mo right as the bullet/disc/projectile/whatever is just about to hit the target.
