1. Who doesn't know Mary?

She may not remember me. I have done some stuff with that group in 2003 and earlier. Why?

I did sign up with the local DFA group and haven't been contacted yet. I will contact them after the hubbub of August is over and my son is on his way to school. The other suburban group is closer to you than to me actually. Based in Oak Park and Skokie.

3. i knew mary from waubonsee
i took her english class, long time ago. she was a favorite teacher. nothing earth shattering.
and yeah, oak park is close. pain in the butt to get to from here, tho. maybe there are some folks closer to you. as things grow, i think they will split off.
and hey, it's just email. if you can't do stuff, it will be good to know that someone is.

4. The local DFAers are in the town
over from me... and what I thought exciting was none of their names looked familiar - so maybe I can introduce them to new peeps and they can introduce others to me. Room to grow there. This August is turning into a busy busy time for me... not enough time to get it all done.

2. Of course
Months and months ago.

We have our local meeting tonight -- it will probably wind up being me, Bob Alexander and my co-leader. We don't usually get much more than that. Very discouraging!
