A few days back dr Gupta of CNN asked that of a VA official...showed hosp grounds used for golf, local businesses etc while local vets homeless.

For my other ideas...
See my other post today on this forum and a reply to the GenDiscuss Forum "WH rolls out job help for vets" IIRC

Other posts gave details of these ideas--

-WPA for vets
-Sheltered workshops
-Old Soldiers Homes(widespread after Civil War, oddly almost nonexistant and hard to qualify for now)

Some other nations do FAR more for vets. A list of such benefits wd be nice pls add here. Tks.

1. You're not going to see any old soldiers' homes from this administration.
Did you notice that Obama just proposed hiring incentives for post-9/11 veterans? Not for the old vets, just for the young ones. Obama hates old people.
