Offutt E-7 jailed on sex assault charges

An airman stationed at Offutt Air Force Base is in a Nebraska jail on 14 counts of sexual assault on a minor.

Master Sgt. Richard C. Laramee, a computer systems manager with the 55th Operational and Support Squadron, was arrested by Sarpy County authorities in December, after being charged with four felony counts of first degree sexual assault of a child. The charges all related to the same teenaged girl.

Once in custody, Laramee was charged with an additional 10 felony sexual assault counts related to another teenaged girl.

Laramee is currently being held in the Sarpy County Jail with out bond.

According to county attorney Stefanie Martinez, Laramee will face his charges in two separate trials.
